Your Body is Normal, There is Nothing to Fear

Dr. Sarno’s Reminder #6

When dealing with chronic pain for a long time, it's easy to believe that something is deeply wrong with your body. You may feel the urge to keep searching—another MRI, another doctor, another test—trying to find the "hidden" problem.

But here’s the truth: Your body is still normal.

Yes, the pain is real, but that doesn’t mean there is structural damage or something fundamentally wrong. Dr. John Sarno’s sixth reminder encourages us to shift our focus from fear to trust. Your body is not broken—it still holds health and resilience within it.

Instead of worrying about what might be wrong, take a moment to recognize the health that exists in you right now. Trust that your body has the capacity to heal. Let go of fear and start seeing pain for what it truly is—a signal, not a sentence.

Does this perspective shift something for you? Let me know in the comments!
